The Ministry of Education and Research invites you to a conference on artificial intelligence and the profound changes brought by this new technology. The keynote speaker will be Professor Stuart Russell from UC Berkeley.

As part of the Kavli Prize week program, the Ministry of Education and Research invites you to a conference on artificial intelligence on September 4th at the University Aula.

"Artificial intelligence and machine learning are going to change society in ways we still do not understand or can control. Strengthening research efforts is crucial to ensure that the development aligns with our societal values," said Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre when the government launched the "AI Billion" last year. These funds are dedicated to research on artificial intelligence and digital technology.

During the celebration of The Kavli Prize and groundbreaking scientific discoveries, it is timely to reflect on how research innovations impact society.
